Andrew O’Connor is an assistant professor of theology and religious studies at St. Norbert College and serves as Director of the Sturzl Center for Community Service and Learning and the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice, and Public Understanding. His work focuses on Qur'anic studies, interfaith dialogue, and comparative theology, with a particular emphasis on the Qur'an's relationship to Jewish and Christian traditions in Late Antiquity.

His recent publications (2019–2022) highlight interdisciplinary approaches, bridging Qur'anic studies with literary analysis (e.g., H.P. Lovecraft), prophetic themes, and polemical interpretations of religious covenants. These works reflect his interest in the intersection of sacred texts, pop culture, and historical theological debates.

O’Connor regularly presents at international conferences in the U.S. and abroad, including Oxford, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Jordan, and Sicily.
