Andrew Narracott

Dr. Andrew Narracott is a Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular Mechanics at the University of Sheffield's School of Medicine and Population Health. He holds a MPhys and PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on applying numerical techniques to cardiovascular systems, including coronary stenting, valve function, and venous hemodynamics. He teaches a third-year undergraduate course on numerical methods for clinical engineering problems.

His lab develops digital patient applications for personalized medicine, such as predicting femoral bone strength from CT data and optimizing coronary artery reconstruction for virtual FFR computation.
