Andrew Murphy

Dr. Andrew Murphy is a Lecturer in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at South East Technological University (SETU). He holds a PhD from University College Dublin (2010–2014) and specializes in advanced materials science, particularly focusing on solidification processes under microgravity conditions and tribology of bulk metallic glasses. His work integrates experimental and computational methods to study material behavior in extreme environments.
