Dr Andrew Moore is an Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal Health Services Research at the Bristol Medical School (THS), University of Bristol. His work focuses on understanding musculoskeletal conditions like osteoarthritis and improving treatment outcomes for patients through qualitative and clinical research. He holds a BSc Hons and PhD from the University of Central Lancashire (C.Lancs).
Key research interests include orthopaedics, surgical interventions, chronic pain management, prosthetic joint infections, and healthcare system improvements. He leads projects such as the STAR care pathway for post-knee replacement pain and the INFORM guidelines for prosthetic hip infection treatment.
