Andrew Meszaros is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at George Fox University with over 20 years of clinical experience. He holds a PhD and completed an NIH post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Iowa's College of Medicine Injury Prevention Research Center. Previously at the University of Toledo, he taught neuroscience, biomechanics, and neuro-rehabilitation to DPT, PhD, and MD students.
His research investigates sensorimotor interactions to develop novel interventions for movement pathologies. Key areas include:
- Neuromechanics of human movement
- Wearable technology applications in rehabilitation
- Sensorimotor basis of injury mechanisms
Recognized for excellence, he received a Fulbright Scholarship and multiple teaching awards. He serves as a reviewer for Journal of Applied Physiology, Journal of Neurophysiology, and Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
