Andrew Medvedev

Andrew Medvedev is the Dean of the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and holds the Albert J. Weatherhead III Professorship of Management. He also serves as a Professor in the Department of Banking & Finance.

As Dean, Medvedev emphasizes cultivating trust, enhancing interdisciplinary research, implementing experiential learning, and fostering innovation. His focus areas include management, finance, and economic education.

He previously worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and co-founded the Weatherhead School's Wall Street Trek, an alumni-funded program connecting students to financial careers. His family immigrated to Cleveland from Russia in 1992, and he has deep ties to Case Western Reserve University through his mother, Irene Medvedev, a former senior technologist at the School of Medicine.
