Andrew McEachern is an Assistant Professor at York University, with academic credentials including a PhD in Applied Mathematics (2013), MSc (2010), and BA (2008) from the University of Guelph. He has also held faculty positions at the University of Victoria (2017-2019) and a postdoctoral fellowship at Queen's University (2015-2017).
His research and outreach focus on the intersection of applied mathematics and role-playing game design, including innovative applications of probability, dice mechanics, and puzzle-based storytelling. He co-authors the blog Dan and Andrew's Game Place, exploring game theory and fantasy game design.
