Andrew Lyndon is an Associate Professor at the California College of the Arts, where he has taught since 2006 and served as Chair of the Animation Program. He is a multidisciplinary artist working as a Painter, Animator, and Filmmaker, creating stand-alone video art, narrative films, and freelance multimedia projects.

Lyndon’s research interests focus on animation as a narrative and educational tool, digital art that bridges traditional and new media, and documentary filmmaking that explores social justice themes. His work often intersects with collaborative performance and interactive learning design.
His recent projects include the 2024 animated documentary Choosing to See, the 2023 de Young Open 2023 exhibition, and the 2022 PBS-distributed animated documentary Brother. He has also contributed to large-scale educational initiatives like the 2014 California Early Educator Competencies for the California Department of Education.

Lyndon has taught extensively, including roles at Pixar Animation Studios (1999–2003) as digital imaging instructor, and at institutions like the Academy of Art University (2004–2006) and Mission College (2004–2006).
