Andrew L Ji

Andrew L. Ji, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with additional appointments in the Cell, Developmental & Regenerative Biology and Oncological Sciences departments. His work bridges cutaneous biology, cancer research, and single-cell technologies, integrating multimodal approaches such as scRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, and CRISPR genetics to study tumor heterogeneity and treatment resistance in skin cancers.

His lab leverages organoid and xenograft models to dissect gene regulatory networks and cancer cell signaling pathways, aiming to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities. He also maintains a clinical practice in general dermatology.
