Andrew Johnston is a Professor of Company Law and Corporate Governance at the School of Law, University of Warwick. He holds additional roles as Director of Admissions (PGT) and Director of Internationalisation. His research focuses on corporate governance structures, sustainability integration, financial market regulation, and the intersection of law with economics. A prolific scholar, his work examines topics such as shareholder primacy, ESG frameworks, and regulatory challenges in the EU and UK contexts. Johnston's contributions bridge legal theory with practical policy, addressing issues like climate-related financial disclosures and the evolving role of institutional investors.
