Andrew Johnson is an Instructor in the Accounting Department at the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business, beginning his appointment in Spring 2025. He holds an MBA in Accounting from Pittsburg State University (2024) and a BSBA in Accounting from Missouri Southern State University (2015). Prior to academia, he served as Controller and CFO for Bud's Bait Retail, LLC and Wholesale Fishing Tackle, LLC, with additional experience as a volunteer tax preparer (IRS VITA program) and church treasurer.
His teaching focus includes introductory accounting courses, with scheduled instruction for ACCT 20103 (Accounting Principles) in Spring 2025. He previously co-taught as a graduate assistant during his MBA program and served as an adjunct instructor at Missouri Southern State University.
