Dr. Andrew Hines is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Philosophy at SOAS University of London and a Thyssen Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London's Centre for Anglo-German Cultural Relations. His work bridges philosophy, intellectual history, and cognitive linguistics, focusing on metaphor’s role in shaping thought and discourse. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Queen Mary (2020), with a thesis later published as Metaphor in European Philosophy after Nietzsche.
