Andy Gutshall is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Technical Director at Valparaiso University. He holds an MFA in Technical Theatre from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1998), a BS in Theatre Design/Production from Illinois State University (1995), and an AS in Business Management from College of Dupage (1992). His expertise spans scenic/lighting design, technical direction, and stagecraft instruction. Gutshall has held roles such as Technical Director at Nebraska Repertory Theatre and Master Carpenter at Utah Shakespeare Festival. He has contributed custom gobo designs to organizations like Rosco catalog, Quad City Symphony Orchestra, and Ballet Arts Minnesota.
