Andrew Gow

Andrew Gow is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, affiliated with the Faculty of Technology at the University of Portsmouth. He works under the supervision of Professor David Wands.

Education:

• PhD in Physics (2021) from the University of Sussex, titled "A history of the universe in primordial black holes"
• MPhys (Hons) in Physics from the University of Sussex (2017)

Research Interests:
Andrew's work focuses on stochastic inflation and its connections to primordial black hole formation. His research explores non-perturbative effects in inflationary models, non-Gaussianity in primordial perturbations, and the dynamics of sudden transitions during inflation. He also investigates power spectra analysis, cosmological perturbations, and the implications of these phenomena for early universe physics.
