Dr. Andrew E Rudd is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at George Mason University (GMU), where he serves as the Interim Director of the Fundamentals of Communication program and a Faculty Mentor for Graduate Teaching Assistants, Graduate Lecturers, and new Adjunct Faculty members. He has taught COMM 101 and other courses for three decades across various institutions.

His research interests span communication theory, persuasion, culture, media, and film studies.
