Andrew Duxbury is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Keiter Faculty Scholar at the James Madison University (JMU) College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut (2016), an M.S. in Taxation from Bryant University (1991), and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island (1986). His research focuses on international taxation, corporate tax strategies, and tax policy reform. He previously served as Director of International Taxation at Textron, Inc. (2007–2010).
His research interests include analyzing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), GILTI compliance, strategic repatriation of foreign earnings, and the impact of global tax reforms like Pillar Two. He has published in journals such as Advances in Taxation and Tax Notes, with notable works addressing multinational corporation tax strategies and policy implications of international tax frameworks.
