Andrew Brownell

Andrew Brownell is an Assistant Professor of Piano at The University of Texas at Austin's College of Fine Arts. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a Master of Music from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Houston. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.

His teaching focuses on piano performance, and he has released the album Shades of Night (2023), exploring piano music themed around the night. The recording features works spanning Baroque, Romantic, and 20th-century American compositions.
