Dr. Andrew Barclay serves as a Lecturer in Politics within the Department of Politics and International Relations at the School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations, University of Sheffield, having joined the institution in 2024 after holding academic positions at the University of Oxford and the University of Manchester.
His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Political Science awarded by the University of Manchester in 2021.
Barclay's research centers on political behavior and its intersection with social inequalities and identities, examining how these factors shape democratic engagement.
