Andrei Antonenko is a Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at Stony Brook University, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2012. His research focuses on syntax, semantics, and their interface, particularly in areas like Binding Theory, Phase Theory, and the syntax-morphology interface of Caucasian languages such as Archi and Russian. He has expertise in teaching large general education courses like LIN 200: Language in the USA and advanced syntax courses. His work bridges formal linguistic theory with empirical analysis of Slavic and Caucasian languages.
