Andreea Gorbatai is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School in Belgium, where she chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Previously, she held roles as an Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and as a consultant with NERA and Deloitte. Her research focuses on the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and social dynamics, examining topics such as digital ethics, organizational culture, and the impact of platforms/AI on entrepreneurial outcomes. She teaches entrepreneurship in Master’s and MBA programs and leads annual innovation-focused trips to Silicon Valley.
Dr. Gorbatai holds a Doctorate in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University, a Master’s in Sociology from Harvard, and a dual Bachelor’s in Economics and Sociology from Dartmouth College. Fluent in five languages, she brings international perspective to her work on global entrepreneurship challenges.
