Andreea Bordianu is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. She completed both her master's and doctoral studies at the same institution and previously worked as a professional accountant and qualified trainer. She currently serves as Head of Year and Personal Tutor for postgraduate Accounting and Finance students.

Her research focuses on intellectual capital, performance measurement, integrated reporting, and accounting education. She explores how intangible assets are reported and valued and investigates pedagogical approaches to developing critical skills in finance professionals. Her teaching expertise lies in management accounting and financial reporting, and she contributes to modules such as International Business Finance, Applied Finance, and the credit-bearing 'Critical Skills for the Finance Professional' module.
Andreea is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an active member of the European Accounting Association and the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management. She has been recognized with the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence twice (2016, 2017), underscoring her commitment to high-quality student education.
