Andreea Bobu

Andreea Bobu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and CSAIL in the School of Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She leads the Collaborative Learning and Autonomy Research Lab (CLEAR Lab), focusing on developing autonomous agents that align their behavior with human expectations through interactive learning.

Her research integrates deep learning, mathematical human modeling, inverse reinforcement learning, and Bayesian inference to address key challenges in human-robot collaboration. Recent work explores language-guided state abstractions and preference-conditioned learning for better task generalization.
