Andreas Weber

Andreas Weber is an Associate Professor of Piano and Head of the Leopold Mozart Institute for the Encouragement of Talented Students at Mozarteum University. He leads the Keyboard Department and oversees the Gifted Students Programme, fostering young talent through international concert activities and academic guidance. His teaching career at Mozarteum University began in 2002, with the Leopold Mozart Institute directorship commencing in 2005.

Education: Studied piano at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and the Mozarteum Salzburg. Professional engagements include solo performances and chamber music collaborations across Europe and Asia, notably with Trio Cartellieri and violinist Albert Fischer.

Research interests focus on advanced piano pedagogy and the cultivation of musical talent. His master classes have been conducted in Korea (Seoul/Gwangju), Vietnam (Hanoi), China (Shenzhen/Guangzhou), and Belgium.
