Andreas Seeger

Andreas Seeger is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he has established himself as a leading researcher in harmonic analysis and related fields. His academic contributions span several decades, with significant organizational leadership in the mathematical community.

Professor Seeger has been instrumental in organizing numerous high-impact conferences that have shaped research directions in harmonic analysis. His organizational leadership includes the Madison Lectures in Harmonic Analysis 2024, the Workshop in Harmonic Analysis (2022), the Summer School in Harmonic Analysis on Manifolds (2022), and the landmark Madison Lectures in Fourier Analysis (2019) where colleagues celebrated his mathematical contributions. He served as co-chair of the AMS-IMS-SIAM Joint Summer Research Conference on Harmonic Analysis in 2001 and organized the Summer School in Harmonic Analysis back in 1996, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to advancing the field.
