Andreas Schäfer

Andreas Schäfer is a Research Associate at the Department of Political Sociology and Social Policy, Institute of Social Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin. He has held acting professor roles and has been associated with the Center for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance at the University of Canberra since 2019. His research focuses on deliberative democracy, parliamentary decision-making, political communication, and temporal aspects of democracy. Schäfer has taught courses on political theory, deliberative democracy, and qualitative research methods.
