Andreas Oldörp

Andreas Oldörp is Professor at HBK Saar's Sound Art Department and serves as the Representative for Studies with Disabilities. His academic journey includes studies at Hamburg Academy of Fine Arts (1978-1988), Université Paris X Nanterre (1983-1984), and Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in China (1988-1989).

His research examines spatial-sound interactions through site-specific installations. Since 1988, he has developed concepts of charging spaces with natural sound energy, creating public artworks that transform acoustic environments. Key focuses include:
