Andreas Müsseler

Professor Andreas Müsseler serves as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at OTH Regensburg and chairs the examination committee for both Bachelor's and Master's Architecture degree programs. Based in Room L 404 at Galgenbergstraße 32, he plays a key leadership role within the faculty that offers three bachelor's and three master's programs focused on combining design excellence with technical expertise.

His research focuses on mass housing construction from the 1960s and 1970s, serial construction of large housing stocks, and the future-oriented restructuring of rural structures with particular attention to the Upper Palatinate region. He leads significant research projects including BBSR/Zukunft Bau's photographic recording and phenomenological description of mass housing buildings and collaborates with the Technical University of Munich on the Nebourhood/New European Bauhaus initiative for redesigning housing structures.

As a practicing architect and designer, he brings substantial professional experience to his academic role, having served as managing director of dreisterneplus Architekten und Stadtplaner since 2013 and previously holding positions at Meili, Peter Architekten München from 2007-2013. His background includes significant practical experience in planning and construction management from 2001-2007 following his architecture studies at TU München.
