Andreas Glöckner

Andreas Glöckner is a Professor at the University of Cologne, leading the Glöckner Group within the Department of Social Psychology. His research focuses on judgment and decision-making processes, cooperation, intuition, and cross-cultural studies. He actively promotes Open Science initiatives and has contributed to addressing the reproducibility crisis in psychological research.

Glöckner's academic roles include Editor-in-Chief of Judgment and Decision Making (since 2018) and President of the European Association for Decision Making (2017–2019). He has received awards such as the 2020 DGPs Quality Assurance Award for his work with the Network of Open Science Initiatives (NOSI).

His research spans topics like bribery behavior across nations, computational modeling of decision-making, and the impact of the pandemic on psychological research. Key findings include insights into cross-cultural cooperation dynamics and the role of cognitive biases in legal judgments.
