Andreas Diekmann is a Senior Professor at the University of Leipzig and a former Full Professor of Sociology at ETH Zurich (2003–2016). He holds additional roles as a lecturer at the University of Zurich and is affiliated with multiple research institutions. His research focuses on social dilemmas, experimental game theory, environmental sociology, and methodological innovations in social research. He leads projects like the DFG-funded study on social norm emergence (2022–2024) and has contributed to interdisciplinary work on environmental justice and behavioral economics.
