Andreas Bloch Ehlers is a Professor at the Center for Business Law and Public Regulation within the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen. His academic work centers on tort law, business law, and public regulation, with a strong emphasis on Danish legal frameworks and their interaction with European law.
He holds a cand.jur. (Danish law degree), an LL.M., a Ph.D., and a dr.jur. (higher doctorate in law).
Professor Ehlers' research interests include Tort Law, Business Law, Public Regulation, Contract Law, Legal Method, and Compensation Law. His work addresses critical issues in compensation systems, sales law, and the legal implications of public administration decisions, such as the mink culling crisis in Denmark.
