Andreas Asheim

Andreas Asheim is Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) specializing in health systems research. His work investigates healthcare capacity pressures, hospital operational efficiency, and population health outcomes.

His research examines how hospital admission volumes, ward occupancy, and emergency department delays impact patient mortality and readmission rates.
