Prof. Meinrat Andreae is the Director of the Biogeochemistry Department and Scientific Member at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Germany. Previously, he held professorial roles at Florida State University, including Assistant, Associate, and full Professor of Oceanography from 1978 to 1987. His research focuses on interactions between the atmosphere and Earth's biosphere/physiosphere, global biogeochemical cycles, and climate science.
