معرفی
Andrea Trabattoni is an Associate Professor of Physics at the Institute of Quantum Optics, Leibniz Universität Hannover, and a scientist at the Center for Free-Electron Laser Science (CFEL), DESY, Hamburg. He leads a research group focused on time-resolved spectroscopy of photo-induced electron dynamics in nuclear transitions.
His academic journey includes a PhD in Experimental Physics from the Polytechnic of Milan and a Master's in Theoretical Physics from the University of Milan-Bicocca. He was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at CFEL before becoming a team leader and later a Helmholtz Young Investigator.
Trabattoni's research lies at the forefront of ultrafast science, using attosecond technology to probe electron motion in atoms, molecules, and nanosystems. His work integrates advanced pump-probe schemes to achieve sub-femtosecond temporal resolution, enabling real-time observation of electron dynamics.
His scientific contributions have been supported by prestigious fellowships, most notably the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, reflecting international recognition of his research excellence.
