Dr. Andrea Stenke is a Lecturer at ETH Zurich's Department of Environmental Systems Science, affiliated with the Institute of Biogeochemistry and Pollutant Dynamics (IBP). She holds a PhD in meteorology from the University of Munich, specializing in chemistry-climate modeling of stratospheric water vapor. Prior to joining ETH in 2009, she conducted postdoctoral research at the DLR Institute for Atmospheric Physics in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. She has served on the editorial board of Geoscientific Model Development since 2009.
Her research focuses on:
- Process-oriented modeling of biogeochemical cycles
- Statistical analysis of trace element distributions in environmental systems
- Impacts of climate change on elemental speciation
