Andrea Sgoifo

Prof. Andrea Sgoifo is an Associate Professor of Physiology at the University of Parma, where he directs the Stress Physiology Lab and the Master of Science in Biology & Biomedical Applications (2017-2019). With 93 peer-reviewed publications (H=32, 3722 citations), his work bridges physiology, neuroscience, and cardiology, focusing on the biological substrates of depression/anxiety-cardiovascular comorbidity using animal models of social stress and pharmacological interventions (e.g., FAAH inhibitors).
