They have made significant contributions to landscape economics, particularly exploring the relationship between cultural landscapes as common goods and sustainable development. Additional research strands include workplace safety analysis, European welfare systems, and the application of multidimensional approaches to measuring social inequalities.
Dr. Salustri's publication record reveals a consistent focus on social and solidarity economy frameworks, with numerous articles examining their role in addressing social exclusion, promoting sustainable development, and creating alternative economic pathways. Their recent work has increasingly incorporated post-pandemic economic recovery considerations, particularly in tourism sectors and regional development contexts. The research demonstrates methodological diversity, employing both qualitative case studies and quantitative analyses of European welfare systems and labor market dynamics.
