Andrea Morrione is Professor of Research and Deputy Director of the Sbarro Institute at Temple University. Trained at Università degli Studi Milano, he specializes in cancer signaling pathways.
His NIH-funded research investigates progranulin signaling in bladder cancer and RB tumor suppressors. With 92+ publications, he explores growth factor receptors' roles in oncogenesis and therapeutic targeting.
Recent work examines EphA2 in sarcomas and KLHL protein duality. He serves on NIH study sections and international grant review panels.
