Andrea Miglio

Andrea Miglio is a Full Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy "Augusto Righi" of the University of Bologna, Italy. His research focuses on understanding galactic formation through precision asteroseismology, leveraging stellar age measurements to reconstruct the Milky Way's evolutionary history.

He leads the asterochronometry project, funded by the European Research Council, which produces detailed galactic timelines by studying seismic data of stars. Office hours are held in room 2S3 at Via Gobetti 93/2, Bologna.
