Prof. Dr. Andrea Lauser is a faculty member at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Göttingen. Her research spans indigenous livelihoods, transnational marriage migration, and the dynamics of religion in Southeast Asia, with fieldwork in the Philippines, Germany (Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology), and Northern Vietnam. She has led major BMBF-funded projects, including DORISEA (2011-2015) and the current research network on the materiality of forced migration.
