Andrea L. Cheville, M.D., MSCE is a Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She holds primary appointment as Consultant in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and joint appointment as Consultant in the Section of Palliative Care, Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Cheville serves as Medical Director of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Program in the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery since 2014 and was Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from 2020-2021. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine since 2016.
Dr. Cheville's research focuses on innovative approaches to cancer rehabilitation and pain management. Her key areas include:
