Andrea Kühn

Prof. Dr. Andrea Kühn serves as Professor of Neurology at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin since 2007 and heads the Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation Section at the Department of Neurology. Her clinical expertise centers on Parkinson's disease and dystonia management.

Her research investigates neuronal oscillations in basal ganglia pathophysiology and deep brain stimulation mechanisms, with active participation in DZNE Berlin studies including MIGAP and DESCRIBE-PSP. This work bridges neurophysiological exploration and therapeutic innovation for movement disorders.

Based at Charitéplatz 1, 10117 Berlin, she maintains clinical operations through the Department of Neurology while advancing neuromodulation science via collaborative studies at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases.
