Andrea Honess

Dr Andrea Honess is an Associate Professor and Co-Programme Director for the Doctorate in Educational Psychology at the School of Education & Lifelong Learning, University of East Anglia. She also works as a Senior Educational Psychologist for a Local Authority educational psychology service.

• Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
• Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Registered with the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA)

Her research focuses on:

• Using video interaction guidance to enhance reflective practice and professional interactions
• Exploring school/community belonging and its impact on children's identity
• Applying socio-historical frameworks to educational development

Her recent peer-reviewed chapter on transnational approaches to inclusive education aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Awards include BPS Associate Fellowship and professional registrations with HCPC/EFPA.
