Andrea Hampton Hall

Dr. Andrea Hampton Hall serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Counselor Education at the University of Kentucky. She co-directs the Interdisciplinary Disability Studies Program. Her professional background includes 8 years as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and director in community agencies, including directing vocational services for Arkansas PROMISE Grant.

Research focuses on qualitative exploration of identity intersections among marginalized groups. Key areas include mental health needs of high-achieving Black women, identity shifts' impact on mental health, and opioid addiction transitions to THC/CBD for pain management. Collaborates on studies examining policy impacts on youth with disabilities' employment opportunities.
