Andrea Gilmore-Bykovskyi

Andrea Gilmore-Bykovskyi is an Associate Professor in the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She holds leadership roles as Associate Vice Chair for Research, Deputy Director of the UW Center for Health Disparities Research, and Informatics Lead for the UW Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Care Research Core.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on promoting equitable Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) care through health services research, with emphasis on:

• Geriatric emergency medicine
• Transitional care for post-acute periods
• Health disparities among vulnerable populations
• Informatics-driven dementia detection
• Person-centered outcome measures
