Andrea Feitl

Andrea Feitl is a Croatian-born Collaborative Pianist and Coordinator in the School of Music at the University of South Florida, where she joined the faculty in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Zagreb and advanced degrees from institutions in Padova, Italy and Cologne, Germany.

Her educational background includes:

• Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Education, University of Zagreb (graduated at age 18)
• Master's and Post-Graduate degrees in Piano Performance, University of Padova, Italy
• Master's and Post-Graduate degrees in Piano Performance, Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Germany

Specializing in collaborative piano, Feitl focuses on chamber music and instrumental accompaniment for woodwind and string instruments. She has accompanied masterclasses by internationally renowned musicians including Zakhar Bron and Victor Tretiakov, and performs regularly at National Flute Association Conventions and International Double Reed Society Conventions. Her 2022 album 'The Journey' features premieres of works by LGBTQ+ composers with flutist Taylor Irelan.

Feitl has won prizes in multiple national and international piano competitions and served as official accompanist for the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and international competitions. Her collaborations include work with Marianne Gedigian, Jennifer Grim, Francesca Arnone, and Amy Collins.

In her USF role, she coordinates the collaborative piano program and provides accompaniment services across the School of Music, supporting student and faculty performance activities while maintaining active performance engagements nationally and internationally.
