Andrea Couceiro is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Viseu's School of Education, concurrently operating her photography/design practice. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor's in Design from Higher School of Arts and Design (Portugal) and ESAD (France), Specialist Title in Photography from Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, and professional training in Adobe AI applications.
Her research focuses on visual media production, cultural documentation through photography, graphic design pedagogy, and community-based artistic projects. Notable recent work includes ethnographic documentation of Portuguese traditions and identity exploration through portraiture.

She actively contributes to academic committees including the Profi'Summit Congress and Solstício Art Festival. As a jury member for photography competitions and vocational assessments, she evaluates student work across educational institutions.
She directs Andrea Couceiro Photography studio, producing commercial and documentary work, including the '150 Years of Santa Teresinha Association' archival project.
