Andrea Cimmino

Andrea Cimmino is a Researcher at the Facultad de Informática de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, affiliated with the Ontology Engineering Group (OEG). He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Seville (2014) and is completing his PhD in Semantic Interoperability and Data Linking. His research focuses on semantic technologies, IoT interoperability, blockchain applications, and knowledge graph frameworks.

Key contributions include the ODRE framework for digital rights enforcement, federated-fog computing models for IoT, and the Helio knowledge graph lifecycle tool. His work spans over 30 publications in venues like Semantic Web Journal and Future Generation Computer Systems.
