Andrea Caoili

Andrea Caoili is the Director of Research and Quality Assurance at the National Center for START Services® and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of New Hampshire. Her work focuses on improving mental health outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through research, program evaluation, and quality assurance.

Her research interests include mental health in intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD-MH), applied and participatory research methods, measurement development, and wellness-based, positive interventions for persons with IDD. She is actively involved in training clinicians and advancing telehealth services in this field.

Andrea plays a key leadership role in ensuring model fidelity and certification across START programs nationwide. She oversees research and evaluation initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and outcomes for vulnerable populations.
