Andrea C. Mosterman is an Associate Professor at the University of New Orleans in the Department of History within the College of Liberal Arts. She specializes in Atlantic and Early American History, with a focus on Dutch slavery and cross-cultural interactions, particularly in Early New York. She has published in the Journal of African History and Early American Studies and curated the digital exhibit Slavery in New Netherland for the New Netherland Institute.

Her courses include Silences in the Archives, The Spatial Turn in the Humanities, and North American Slavery.
