Andrea A. Curcio is a full Professor at Georgia State University College of Law, where she has taught since 1994. She holds a J.D. with high honors from the University of North Carolina and a B.A. cum laude from Colgate University.

Her research focuses on legal education reform, bar exam accessibility, cultural competence in legal training, and gender-related legal issues. She has developed tools to measure cultural sensibility learning outcomes and conducted empirical studies on assessment methods in legal education.
Curcio’s recent work analyzes pathways to practice-ready legal licensing, critiques of the bar exam, and racial disparities in legal education. Her empirical studies explore how formative assessments and teaching innovations improve student performance and institutional equity.
